Our Mission & Vision

Missions International began as a calling on the life of Ray and Peggy Etheridge that followed their very first mission trip to Mexico in 1983. After hearing many stories and being frustrated themselves that the missionaries in the field did not receive all of the contributions given to them because the mission boards would take money off the top for administrative fees, they were determined to do something about it. In 1988 Missions International, Inc., was born as a mission board where 100% of all contributions would go directly to the mission field. In addition to being a mission board for many missionaries, Missions International is registered in Mexico as a pastoral organization and helps raise funds for the pastors salaries and to help their churches.  Missions International exists to help pastors and missionaries share the love of Jesus with a lost and dying world.

Leadership Team:

Peggy Etheridge, Founder, CEO

Peggy and her late husband Ray, began traveling to Mexico for missions in 1983. They founded Missions International in 1988 in an effort to provide a mission board and Mexican pastoral organization that would pass along all donations to missionaries without administrative fees. Throughout the years, Ray and Peggy spent much time in Mexico, leading mission trips to plant churches, construction work, children’s ministries, evangelism, and discipleship. Peggy, a native of Homer, Georgia, presently lives in Lavonia, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia and the Business College in Atlanta. Peggy is an active member of Lavonia First Baptist Church.

What we believe:

    • SALVATION – by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:1-21)
    • BAPTISM – by imersion (Mark 1:9-10)
    • BIBLE – is the inspired Word of God from Genesis through Revelation
    • …then Mark 16:15

And then He told them,

“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
